Phil McAndrew is an illustrator and cartoonist living in Syracuse, NY. He has a BFA in illustration from Daemen College, where he was awarded a portfolio-based four year scholarship. He started publishing mini comics and webcomics as a high school student. In 2004, Phil co-founded Found Hat Press, a collective of talented young illustrators and cartoonists. He's had comics published by New Reliable Press in the acclaimed You Ain't No Dancer series of anthologies. At the age of 22 he won the 2006 Syracuse Press Club Professional Recognition Award for best art illustration. He is currently attempting to write and draw his first graphic novel. Phil loves snowboarding, sandwiches, and buying DVDs.
